Bought these shoes for my son about 5 years ago knowing they will 'grow' with children's feet. He loves her! So much so that he wore out his first pair and I had to buy him a new pair last year. He gets compliments on the bright, light-up wheels when we take them to the rink, and they look great on the street, sidewalks, and wooden bridges too! I mean avoid wooden bridges if you can, but my kid is brave and doesn't mind fast jolts. Haha! He even learned easy jumps and "stunts" off curbs on them. Literally anything a 5, 6, 7, 8 and 9 year old boy could imagine making them, my kid did and they have held up admirably.
