Review on πŸ“± UBeesize Phone Tripod - Portable and Flexible with Wireless Remote, Universal Clip Stand for Video Recording (Black) by Brian Malith

Let me explain why it's garbage.

You can't use it as a cell phone tripod because when you put your cell phone up for a standard portrait photo or video it's too heavy. You can adjust the legs a bit to compensate, but after barely touching the side of the camera, it was enough to tip it over. I wouldn't trust it in a light wind or draft. The legs should be a lot heavier than they really are. Also, you can't aim directly at the table in tripod mode, as your legs get in the way of the shot and there's only one point on the swivel (notch) where you can point your phone. This only works when photographing very small objects like a coin, but you still need to crop the image to remove the legs. In addition, the groove mentioned above is not cut properly; It doesn't allow you to rotate a full 90 degrees, it's always offset by about 4 degrees meaning you can't set the camera up for a perfectly straight landscape or portrait photo or video, it will always be slightly offset , enough to ruin a shot. You can try adjusting the legs to compensate, but the leg issue was mentioned above. The groove is also stationary, which means that while you can rotate the phone, if you want to use the groove to shoot straight down, you'll have to use the groove, and you'll have no choice but to take the groove's position relative to the legs and again your shot will be ruined. They are so short that this is only possible with the smallest stationary objects. I could make a better design than this in a few hours. Finally. Remote control not working, no instructions. The tripod comes with a little FAQ covering the basic stuff that nobody needs help with, but it doesn't even mention the remote control.
