Not soft, but read on.
When I think of a crib I think of sleeping outside, in a tent or cabin. This sheet goes well with this image as it is durable. Like a military class. If you expect softness, it's not. If you expect a sheet like you would expect in elementary school or on Boy Scout tours, something designed for function rather than comfort, then this is for you. I am very confident that we can wash this item for the next 30 years and never need bedding again. I'm happy with that.
