Review on 🐠 Carib Sea Aquatics Eco-Complete African Cichlid Zack Sand - 20-Pound, Black: Premium Substrate for African Cichlid Tanks by Teresa Presha

The description says that the substrate is sand with other things, but they DO NOT tell you that there are so many other things that the proportion of "sand" about It's 5%, so the black 'sand' is barely visible in the bag, it says it's black with 'some white particles', which we thought was fine. There is more white than black in these pockets and it is definitely NOT sand. There is a trick you can use to make most of the white disappear, but the moment your fish gets in the tank and starts digging, the white immediately returns because there isn't enough black in the bag to cover the entirety to cover white. We ended up having to go to the pet store and buy 20 pounds of regular black sand to cover this substrate. The substrate is great, does what it says on the tin, but it's definitely NOT SAND. Description is wrong.
