Not waterproof, not even waterproof
The fabric the aprons are made of can be considered waterproof, but the weaving allows water through and soak clothing underneath. I assume the oil will do the same, but I haven't been able to wear it long enough to know. The lack of even slight water resistance and ridiculously short ties add up to a terrible apron unless you like getting flour on your clothes. If that's all you need, there are many nicer and more useful aprons out there for the same price or less.
