Review on Wolf Tooth TekLite Roll Top Mounting by Jonathan Brendemuehl

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Mixed bag (ha) on accessories

The top strap which is not visible in the main photo but there are loops that attach with velcro through , poorly sewn, so one of the loops was too small. I used it anyway by stretching the foil but I suspect some seams will rip after about 6 months. If I didn't live abroad I would send it back as I assume it's a manufacturing defect. Unfortunately the bag I bought looks like a recycled return (probably for the reason described) as it was packaged with no advertising, no instructions and two sets of screws. Sending faulty items to other customers is not what a quality company would do. Otherwise my overall impression is positive. It looks good, is a reasonable size and the velcro closure is a lot better than the flimsy straps on some similar products. A possible downside is the material - it's very thin. I'm guessing it must be one of those modern wonder fabrics, but I don't see any branding (like Dyneema) in the product description, and the bag's design requires the material to be stacked, so I have doubts about durability. , looks good, there are a few nice touches but I'm worried about how long it will last.

Pros
  • Folding top design protects contents from water, dirt and other road grit
Cons
  • I'll write later
