Review on 🌦️ Weather-Resistant Electrical Transformers: SOCKiTBOX by Robbie Guinn

I ordered one of these small weatherproof boxes after my sprinkler installed an outdoor timed sprinkler box but then an AC power supply (not rated for outdoor use) to a weatherproof box plugged in socket. - Needless to say, the first rain and power supply died. I placed it on the patio under the sprinkler timer box with the power supply in the box and connected it to a short outdoor extension cord (see photos). An extension cord (fitted with a weatherproof seal purchased from Revain) is then plugged into an outside outlet. It has rained at least 3 times since installation and everything seems fine! The only thing that worries me is that I don't understand why it has a recessed top - it causes it to hold water that needs to be drained after rain. I would have thought that a slightly sloped top (like the roof) would have been wiser). Regardless, it was an inexpensive solution that seems to be working well! RECOMMENDED. (If it doesn't last I'll update this review)
