Love this idea. The size is great and the design isn't bad either. Two problems: 1. The plastic cover tore, or rather split, within a few minutes, exactly where the clamped connection is made. I ordered one of these small weatherproof boxes after my sprinkler installed an outdoor timed sprinkler box but then an AC power supply (not rated for outdoor use) to a weatherproof box plugged in socket. - Needless to say, the first rain and power supply died. I bought several of these boxes for our Christmas light show. They're well built with thick plastic, snap-on hinges, flexible moldings on the intakes, and a lip to minimize the amount of water entering the intakes. Our outdoor socket has a GFCI switch that will trip repeatedly with our light indicator in inclement weather. Ordinary downspouts don't seem to be able to hold enough water when it rains, causing us to turn off all the lights. These sockit boxes are a huge improvement and I don't see
