Should have read all reviews before ordering. The cable from the base to the device is NOT RG58, NOT 50 ohm, and the connector at the end of the device is junk. Antennas do NOT use SMA so you must use a base. The antennas and socket have different coarse threads and using force to push the antenna onto the SMA can cause damage. For example, do not confuse a whip antenna with 2-3 others that are probably on your bench! I will most likely return them and follow the advice of others not to buy NooElec again.
