Review on Ranger Mini Blending Replacement Foams by Carrie Spencer

Revainrating 1 out of 5

Product altered, poor quality

The quality of these foams has deteriorated significantly since at least August this year when I bought a new pack. The foams are significantly different (thinner) than the foams that came with the original instrument. They also feel like softer, less dense foam. The velcro is much thinner/softer, more like thin felt, and the foam keeps separating/tearing from this velcro when mixed and/or removed from the tool when changing color. These days they're essentially disposable due to tearing/separating, and I don't even use a heavy hand when mixing. They break even with the slightest pressure. 8 I'm very disappointed and won't buy it again because it's more trouble than it's worth. If the foam tears off the velcro during shuffling, it will ruin my cards and cause me a lot more work and a headache. I cannot recommend this to anyone. Ranger has clearly changed how and where they are made, and NOT for the better.

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
