Review on Petmate 29212 Hammer Universal Filter by Lindsay Erdman

This is a great replacement for the filters that came with my cartridge. We searched in different stores for a long time and could not find the right size. That was great! At first they seemed big enough to be a good substitute. Then when I thought about trimming the edges of the filter, I realized that there are two perforations on the sides of the filter that allow you to quickly trim it to 1/4 inch on each side. After removing the edges, the filter fits the filter shaft like a glove. I am very happy with this product, mainly for the ability to be cut to size.
