Petmate 29212 Hammer Universal Filter Review

I love this product so much. We recently discovered that our tablet has a filter after owning it for almost 14 years. We bought one of these to help our cat not get sick with the old one. (She didn't get sick, but who knows). My grandma loves the way it works and it was cheap with Amazon Prime. Next time we need a filter we'll go to petco to find one and if not we'll buy it here.

I really like these Stay Fresh cat litter filters but I've found that none of the stores run out of them, however there is still a tray with a hood that only fits these filters. I am VERY disappointed that I paid $3 at local stores but had to pay over $10 to order it through Revain due to increased product prices and shipping costs. The product is excellent. the price is ridiculous.

This is a great replacement for the filters that came with my cartridge. We searched in different stores for a long time and could not find the right size. That was great! At first they seemed big enough to be a good substitute. Then when I thought about trimming the edges of the filter, I realized that there are two perforations on the sides of the filter that allow you to quickly trim it to 1/4 inch on each side. I'm an Arm & Hammer fan and think I'd love this filter if it fits in my cat's trays. I saw the word "universal" and placed my order without measuring first, so it's on me. My advice to others: make sure you have a filter hole in the lid of the dish that fits a filter of this size, as it cannot be cut without breaking the seals and spilling the crystals from the filter.
