Review on ๐ŸŒถ๏ธ Peugeot 870422/1 Paris Classic 9-Inch Pepper Mill, Chocolate: Finely Ground Nostalgia for Flavorful Feasts by Justin Miller

The grind setting is terrible!

I have owned this pepper grinder for 2 years now, have given it a chance to shine and get used to it and I absolutely hate this grinder. If that was an option I would give "0" stars. All reviews about this grinder, which does not support delicacy, are absolutely correct, it jumps everywhere! Well, that's not entirely true, either it holds the powder well when the rotating part of the coffee grinder is pressed firmly against the stationary one, or so that half the pepper comes out. Medium shredding isn't suitable, every turn of the shredding mechanism fluffs it up until the mentioned pepper halves come out, which is so annoying! Considering the price of these things, this should be the best windmill you will ever own, but it's far from it. I know they say French windmills are the best and that Peugeot is the dean of French windmills, but this one leaves a lot to be desired. Maybe their three setting grinders are better, and maybe they have other models like this that are good, but not this one. Save your money and your time. ****UPDATE**** I see that Revain has lowered the price of this mill significantly, which is a good thing. I paid a lot of money for this grinder and my review above still stands, it didn't even live up to the most basic expectations. It makes me feel like I've been robbed even more!
