Review on 🏞️ SAFAVIEH Adirondack ADR108B Oriental Medallion Runner Rug - Non-Shedding for Living Room, Entryway, Foyer, Hallway, Bedroom - 2'6" x 6' - Ivory/Silver by Alfonso Wilson

This rug has the color and design I was looking for and I was glad I only unrolled half of the rug. When it was fully unrolled I could see that there was a color variation on the other half. After three days lying on the floor, all edges and corners are aligned. Midway through the second half was a different story. It has creases across the width and upon closer inspection I could see that the rug has been stretched. It either came that way from the factory or was folded too tight before being rolled, causing it to stretch. It does NOT lie flat and never will. I'm sending it back but I'm willing to give the factory the benefit of the doubt and have ordered another one. If the next one does the same thing as this one, he'll come back too. In addition, the smell of the carpet is quite unpleasant and spreads through almost every room in my house. It's like it's been stored in a damp basement, but I know from other reviews it was caused by the dyes/chemicals in the synthetic fibers. It made my house smell of "age". I believe the smell will eventually go away so that wasn't my main concern as I don't want to look at a rug that looks like its best days are far behind. I will update the review once I see the shape of the second rug. Update: I received a second rug like this one and the binding ripped in two places on one side (see second picture). I am so done with this rug and am sending it back.
