Review on ๐Ÿ”ช KITCHENDAO 20-Slot Eco-Friendly Bamboo Knife Block Holder - Deluxe Countertop Knife Stand for Multiple Large Blade Knives, Wider Slots for Easy Storage and Accessibility (Knives Not Included) by Chad Aguirre

Revainrating 5 out of 5

The workhorse block is the best cutlery and knife accessory

It's not an expensive $100 piece of wood, but this block feels solid. It's a good solid weight, the bamboo has a nice finish, all the joints feel good, and the rubber feet are grippy enough. The center of gravity seems fairly well distributed in the back so it doesn't easily fall forward when loaded (this has happened to me before). I have full confidence in the ability of this unit to stay together and stay in place. I don't need 20 slots, but I do need more than two 2" slots, which is surprisingly hard to come by, and that fits the bill. The 4-inch slot width didn't really influence my purchase decision, but it turns out it makes a difference in the blink of an eye, making it easier to get in and clean when needed. Although in my opinion the width is slightly better suited to larger blades than a paring knife or utility knife. It would still be fine if you had steak knives that occupy the lower, thinner slots, but since I don't have them, mine happily nestle there instead. Overall happy with the purchase. EDIT: I don't know what's going on here, but this review is NOT on a magnetic disk, it's on a regular slotted block. Something has changed. Seems a little suspicious, n'est-ce pas?
