Review on 🚙 Rugged Ridge Stainless Steel License Plate Bracket for 76-86 Jeep CJ (11136.01) by Anil Jaimes

Bought to replace a rusty original bracket on a 1986 Jeep CJ-7. These are the "exactly" same dimensions as the original (albeit a little thicker), which isn't really an issue or a bad thing. Since it's made of stainless steel, it will hopefully stand up to the weather a lot better than the steel original. Depending on the type of license plate screws/bolts you use you may or may not need to bend the bracket, but with the type of screws I used to attach the license plate, I had to make a few bends in the vertical bar to give it more depth shift of the horizontal brace from the body of the jeep. Although bending the bracket was a bit of a hassle (due to the thickness and strength of the stainless steel), it was manageable and came out pretty well (looks like factory). I'm very happy with this mount and compared to others I looked at before buying I'm pretty happy with my choice. I could have paid a lot more for the ones that were NOT rust free if this is the best of both worlds, less expensive AND rust free! Can't win I don't think you will be disappointed if you choose this product.
