🚙 Rugged Ridge Stainless Steel License Plate Bracket for 76-86 Jeep CJ (11136.01) Review

My original license plate bracket has rusted terribly. This new durable comb is made from nice shiny stainless steel so it looks great and I don't have to worry about it rusting. Got up immediately without any changes. I will definitely be buying more durable Ridge products.

Shiny, not that they show up with license plates installed, but it's nice to know stainless steel won't rust or degrade like a plastic bracket. The lower portion is angled to allow the left brake light to properly illuminate the license plate. Worth every penny!

The bracket itself deserves five stars. It is thick, well polished and made of good material. The description states "All hardware is also made of stainless steel, so it completes that polished look you're looking for." Kit does not include any gear. It's just a bracket. The description is misleading and now I have to go buy the hardware.

Bought to replace a rusty original bracket on a 1986 Jeep CJ-7. These are the "exactly" same dimensions as the original (albeit a little thicker), which isn't really an issue or a bad thing. Since it's made of stainless steel, it will hopefully stand up to the weather a lot better than the steel original. Depending on the type of license plate screws/bolts you use you may or may not need to bend the bracket, but with the type of screws I used to attach the license plate, I had to make a few…
