I bought a $30 iron from Electronic Specialists and after a year of heavy use found my tip was too oxidized and wouldn't work really heated up. I looked for another one, found this one on Revain and decided to give it a try as I wasn't entirely sure if this particular tip was causing my problems. I inserted this new one, installed and ran it. and it worked as before. It was an easy replacement and the price was good. It's a little larger than my previous tip, which frustrated me a bit, but it works great and is as described.
