Solid value in my opinion

Use it as a second monitor for Microsoft Surface Go 2 powered by USB PD source and USB PD pass-through hub with HDMI port. Here is my hub: https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B09TZLNWM9 Here is the USB PD source for the hub: https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B003FOOY32 I was surprised and delighted that I could power the USB port C PD Bimawen from one of the USB 3 ports on the hub. Upon delivery I found that according to one of the Q&A's answered here by "Bimawen Official" the USB 3 port was only supposed to deliver 15W (3A at 5V). I was willing to invest more than 40 watts. However, I will say that I'm confused by how much extra power I'm using when running external HDMI - if I ever find out with a power meter I hope to post it here. Is there a way to prevent cables from getting stuck Here is my 180 degree mini HDMI connector https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B09NBV8FB9 Here is my 180 degree PD compatible connector https:/ /smile.amazon.com/dp/ B0B6ZL5RRC These connectors are designed for cleaning setup. I'm using the mini HDMI cable that came with the device. I plugged in my own USB cable so can't comment on what came in the box yet. Between cheaper HD devices and more expensive 4K devices, this 1440p display offers the best value for money, at least for me. Now that I've seen 1440p on a 17-inch display, I doubt there's as much value in a 4K display at just 17-inches, so I'm glad I didn't spend more. These pixels are small and the images are fine. Depending on how you set up text scaling on screen, you can make the text ridiculously small but still legible if you want. There is a review on YouTube with a device that looks like it has the exact same packaging, same 1440p resolution and otherwise looks just like this one. The reviewer liked the device. But out of the box, the one on YouTube was a bit dull and lacking in color until he spent time adjusting the brightness and other settings. Since I don't plan on using it for desktop publishing, I can't comment on the color scheme and such. But as far as brightness goes, I find the Bimawen's display bright enough out of the box.
