Watch how tight you engage the hook and limit the weight on it
I wouldn't put more than 10 pounds on one of these - the metal hooks break fairly easily. If driving the screw into wood instead of using a drywall anchor, pre-drill a pilot hole or use 2 jam nuts to drive the screw in - twist a hook attached to hard wood and you will most likely break it. But with these limitations everything works fine - we used a potted/hanging bouquet.
