I would not buy this filter again, I got it for my mother because of the cost, but it's not worth it. I had to buy the same as the APEC WFS-1000, it cost 2 times more, but there are no problems with it, and they have a phone number to call. The problem is with the filter in the faucet, it's very easy to disassemble. After doing the entire installation (a trip to the warehouse at home to get the correct adapter for 3/8 instead of 1/2 compression) and making sure I didn't lose the faucet before turning on the water, I pulled a little bit of it and it came right away (remember they are meant to be left, but not with a little effort). So I asked for a replacement which took a week, same problems with the faucet and as others with broken parts of the filter (not that I would replace the entire filter, I just needed a faucet). I am just emailing the seller to see how this can be resolved as I do not trust the current faucet and cannot install my mother's previous filter because I am also changing her kitchen faucet and it is not compatible with her is.
