This item was recommended by Revain when purchasing a ceiling fan but is not compatible. The depth of the pre-cut slots connecting the bottom pole to the ceiling fan was too deep. These slots should allow the rod and pin to go through the ceiling fan/bottom rod/ and ceiling fan again. Tweezers can't get through.
