Review on Professional Premium Numbered Colored Schpirerr by Marti Kordeliski

Art quality pencils!

Pencils arrived quickly and in excellent condition. The pens were packaged in a very pretty tin box and decorated with all the colors of the rainbow. I've been a "colorist" since the 1990's and usually prefer Prismacolor Premier and Faber Castell pencils. I pulled out all the pencil marks I had and compared them to Schpirerr Colors soft crayons. I was very impressed! It's like they took the strength of Faber Castell and the softness of Prismacolor Premier and combined them into one. The pencils are rich in color and easy to blend. There is a color chart on the back of the tin can. There are no names on the pens. For reference, I drew a few index cards. Not sure if this was intentional or not but my set came with an extra tray in a tin. I found it very handy so I can choose the pens I want to paint with and arrange them on this extra tray! These pens are perfect for the coloring I'm doing. I really hope the company makes a bigger set with more colors! I definitely recommend these pens! I am not paid to give my opinion on these pens and I do not know anyone from this company. The photo shows an image from a book by Robert Roskam called "Botany II" which I colored with Schpirerr Colors crayons.
