Great full grip. The 11s/8mm is as light as bamboo, but of course less grippy. I generally like metal needles, but these are particularly good. I'm not a very tight knitter, but I've had absolutely no problems with dropped stitches and working with a full 8mm set seems as easy as working with non-metallic materials. I can move much faster with them than with other DPNs. The tips are really good: sharp enough to work with the line but not so sharp that they split. I find the cone very appealing and always appreciate the color coding for size. Finally, as a more general note, they have 7mm needles! You'll never see these - at least not in the US - and it's a really useful size for a chunky yarn of 5. I see some reviews mentioning stitch loss problems, which I can see if you're a freelance knitter. Make no mistake, this is SLICK. But I love it and haven't lost a stitch yet. Highly recommended.
