Works exactly as I expected.
After borrowing a lip liner from a friend and finding it very easy to work with, I decided to get my own. My friend was only 2 inches wide and 12 inches long and was easy to maneuver and use. This one is slightly larger but very handy and useful, and the lip, which was the main attraction anyway, lets the ruler act like a T-square, making perpendicular cuts easier.
