We bought this product because we were very interested in ION technology. One day our engineer friend looked at the product and laughed, he came back the next day with one of his working counters. Let's just say a picture is worth a thousand words. The image shows just over 3,000 negative ions. You usually have that in the air. Last time I checked 3,000, it was a lot less than 60 million.
