I happened upon a video of this type of scissors on social media and thought it looked like a fun take on old utensils. I was right. First, they are amazingly strong and sharp for the price! The color-coded grips are comfortable to hold and work reasonably well. We've tried all three and they work as expected, and the shredder was the most amazing to use. We've used it on carrots and zucchini with great results. The traditional potato peeler is fast but lacks the precision of traditional design. If your theme is rounder, say an apple, use the old version; they are too bulky for this task. So buy them for extra functionality. We really like Shredded and it's faster than using a mandolin-style device.
