Yes, the drawings are completely random. At the time I ordered it didn't say I would get anything other than an animal print, so I was a little stunned when I saw the cosmic design instead. They are cute enough, however, and my son and I really liked these shorts. My boy is a skinny 3T and they fit perfectly. If your child is stockier or has a bigger butt, I would go up a size. The material feels a bit stiff at first, but becomes very soft and very comfortable after a few washes. The color does not fade, the fabric is in good condition. My son loves all the cute designs so much he asks to wear these boxers over other pairs.
