The installer tried to convince me not to use this kit because it's aluminum and when a lot of current flows in it the cable melts. For a small amp this will be fine, but not for long. Cheap and inexpensive for a reason. I think for a budget system where I use a 5 channel 50 x 4 150wrms amp for the subwoofer he said it would be ok. It just makes me a little uneasy.
