The only problem I had was the pins didn't match the connector (PCIE) initially. It was 1/8 inch to the left. I solved it.1. Removing the bracket completely 2. Connecting the PCIE3 card. Then use two plastic cable ties to hold the card in place so that it is not pushed inwards when connecting the cable4. I covered any open airways with tape around the RJ45 jack. I ran it without checking for updates on Windows and without installing any discs. It works perfectly the first time and faster than I expected. Note. Make sure you get a card that fits a .PCI card if you have PCI slots and a PCIE card if you have PCIE slots. (I have an old HP Pavilian p6 2011 desktop with 3 extra PCIE slots. I upgraded my old HDD to a new 500GB Crucial SSD.) Hope this helps. Ed
