Worked right out of the box with WIN 10

The only problem I had was the pins didn't match the connector (PCIE) initially. It was 1/8 inch to the left. I solved it.1. Removing the bracket completely 2. Connecting the PCIE3 card. Then use two plastic cable ties to hold the card in place so that it is not pushed inwards when connecting the cable4. I covered any open airways with tape around the RJ45 jack. I ran it without checking for updates on Windows and without installing any discs. It works perfectly the first time and faster than I

Pros
  • A little more on that
Cons
  • Good but not great

Works great as advertised - good dust cover and slim design.

This small, inexpensive card works very well given its price. I just installed two of these. I've seen many reviews stating that the card doesn't fit in their machines' expansion slots. I had no such problem, everything fitted perfectly on two different machines. So I don't know if the manufacturer released a bad batch that wasn't cut properly, or if the people installing them made mistakes during installation. However, I found it important to come here to let other shoppers know that they are…

Easy to use with network cards

When my built-in ethernet port broke I knew I needed a replacement, and while I've found it very convenient to swap out cards and components on my computer, I did a bit of sketching and tried to install a new card with no way of getting drivers for the card (no install disk and no internet access due to a broken port to download drivers online). Well, to my complete satisfaction, this card worked from the moment it was installed and plugged in. .Without fumbling in the bios. No slices. No…

Did the trick! Best of the Network Cards

Dell Optiplex 9020M/Win10 My internet speed is 500 Mbit/s. The integrated Intel 9020 network adapter is designed for up to 1 Gbit/s. Well, only 100Mbps is recognized. Called my ISP for support and no help. All my active cables are CAT5e or CAT6, so all my cables can carry up to 1GB of data. Plugged my laptop into each port of the router/modem and got 500 Gbps with no issues. Replaced cable to computer and still only 100/100Mbps. Then I updated the drivers directly from Intel. Computer…

Easy Installation: Network Cards

, went into the device manager and checked if the drivers for it are installed, no software is needed. Plug and play with Windows 10 Pro updated to the latest version. The download speed over a wireless connection is 74 Mbit/s and directly from the modem is 117 Mbit/s. (I pay for 100) The fastest network adapter in the house now. Replaced a P43DE MOBO network adapter that worked for 10 years and stopped working after upgrading to Windows 2004. The price was great and I would buy it again.

Pros
  • While everything is connected like
Cons

thickness available.

Upgraded to 1GB internet and in short found my ethernet not working on my board. So I did a quick look and for $14 and a 24 hour wait I was able to fix my computer and get the numbers I wanted. Easy to install? I would say your tower design will be the most difficult part of the process. Mine just pops up. Then I put the card in. 5 star thickness? Why does Amazon require a review for very strange and unrelated items? What I mean is that the card falls within the specified dimensions. 5 star…

Works perfectly! No complaints.

I bought it because I needed 2 LAN ports on my PC. It had good reviews so I ordered it. Received quickly via Prime Shipping. Installed it in a PCI-E port and booted the PC expecting to see an unrecognized device in Device Manager. But I was happy to see that Windows automatically found the correct drivers and the card was ready to use. I plugged an ethernet cable into it and connected it to my switch and I had an instant connection. I've been using it for over 2 weeks now and haven't had any…

Economical speed boost

I bought this card to increase network speed on an old network storage tower. The instructions said to install the drivers first (no indication of where to find them) but have never had to do this with Win 10 before, just installed the card. When Windows Pro didn't recognize the card, I went back to the old-school method. I removed the original NIC and all conditions for it in Device Manager. Switch off, pull out the mains plug for approx. 30 seconds. Plugged in again, switched on and done. Now

Pros
  • Excellent design
Cons
  • Useless features
