When my built-in ethernet port broke I knew I needed a replacement, and while I've found it very convenient to swap out cards and components on my computer, I did a bit of sketching and tried to install a new card with no way of getting drivers for the card (no install disk and no internet access due to a broken port to download drivers online). Well, to my complete satisfaction, this card worked from the moment it was installed and plugged in. .Without fumbling in the bios. No slices. No Downloads. There are no drivers. I'm not sure if this is a unicorn among PC parts, but this was the easiest component swap I've ever done.
