Review on 💧 BlueDri BD-BD-130-BL Industrial Commercial Dehumidifier: Efficient Basements and Job Site Solution in Blue by Jose Ballard

Affordable and Quiet

I have a barn with an area of 8000 square meters. ft that I use for storage I insulated it last summer and thought about adding HVAC, but after numerous overwhelming offers I had to put the HVAC on hold and instead rent an industrial LGR7000 to deal with the humidity. It worked so well that I actually realized that by just controlling the humidity, the temperature never went above 27°C in the summer, and that was on a couple of very hot, muggy 90-100°F days! up to $330 per month). The LGR7000 costs $2400 and was a very impressive product when I had it, but I've seen this unit with almost identical specs for half the price (and it was in grey!). So based on the reviews I pulled the trigger and couldn't be happier. Humidity dropped from 62% to 49% over an area of 8,000 m² in less than 24 hours. Feet and dropped 4 degrees from room temperature. What's also worth mentioning is how quiet it is. The LGR was pretty loud, while the BD-130 I bought is almost silent. I ran the drain pipe through the door to the sink and it pumps great. I'll check again to see if I run into any issues, but while I'm very happy with the BlueDri, of course I wish it was $800 so I could buy another, but hey, beggars can't decide.
