Anything that is a product at the same time deserves attention. It comes with a standard 1/2" Jacobs chuck so it can be used as a "regular" killer drill bit. Remove the lining by pulling on the locking ring and you have your SDS stamp. A full range of functions and a speed control complete the tool. This really is a complete package. It has drill bits and chopping tools, easy access to the gear (with lube and a refill tool) and I found the trigger to be easy to pull. Not sure when I'll be able to use the depth gauge, but it's nice to know I have one when I need it. Longevity is a guess here, but when it comes down to it, that goes for any new purchase. For now, it has adequate grip sizes and plenty of torque. In fact, I make sure my foot is on it when I know it's breaking through to make sure I don't twist my arm or wrist. Considering the price, this is probably not for commercial/professional work, only suitable for occasional home and yard use.
