I bought this watch to help with my training program. Setting it up and connecting to my Training Peaks app was pretty easy. No workouts are loading after 4 weeks of use, but I'm pretty sure I did that in the app. I admit I'm not very tech savvy. It records stats for all types of runs - outdoor, treadmill, indoor and some other activities like treadmill sessions etc. I find strength training cumbersome to set up - I have to train one body part at a time. I think I should have taken the Vertix because I mainly do trail, climbing and skiing. But the watch is great for the money. It also lets you know when you get an email or text message, or when someone calls you. And the battery life is amazing - 3-4 days on a single charge depending on usage. They replaced my Apple Watch. And the fit is really good. I have a very small wrist but this watch fits and looks good. The silicone strap is very adjustable (I have a gold strap). The dial is not too big and very light. I even wear it when I sleep because it tells you how you slept! You can find out how many hours you have spent in deep and light sleep and wakefulness. Don't hesitate to get this watch. However, note that you may want to spend extra money on Vertix.
