I bought this for my kids (ages 8 and 10) to learn the basics of knitting after trying to learn how to use the needles proved a bit difficult. My 8 year old daughter started making the headband straight away and finished it in a few hours. She liked that it was easy to use and that the instructions were very clear. It has space for everything you need, which I really like. The amulets that come with it aren't many, but they're good for starters. The only downside was that we almost ran out of yarn before the headband was finished, but if you're using your own this shouldn't be a problem.
