Review on 🔵 Bosch BC1044 QuietCast Premium Ceramic Disc Brake Pad Set: Ford C-Max, Escape, EcoSport, Focus; Mazda 3, 3 Sport, 5; Volvo C30, C70, S40, V40 Cross Country, V50, Front - Enhanced Performance and Low Noise by Jonathan Partridge

Recently a front brake installed these pads with a pair of Centric rotors. They fit perfectly in the caliper body. They provided a bag of blue brake grease which I believe they smeared onto all contact points. The pads are already mounted on these pads. I spun around to check on these babies and stopped great. Sometimes I hear a squeak, but that may be due to insufficient lubrication of other parts. I would buy them again but be more detailed to prevent squeaks. Update: I had to use CRC Disc Brake Quiet to muffle the squeaking and squeaking. Even with shims pre-installed, they generate noise due to movement between the caliper/piston and pad, especially when braking at low speeds. Do yourself a favor and use a CRC product. Update 9/2019: These front pads are still holding up well but the squeaking and squeaking has gotten worse and has become permanent. I disassembled the brake system. All contact points cleaned, lubricated and relocated. It was quiet at first, but after a few months the noise returned. Very annoying and unacceptable for a product of this brand. Akebono Pads did not have this problem.
