Nice carpet, very bright colors, very fun for the playground. Not super thick or plush, but still comfortable. It won't trip your little one, so I think that's a plus! The only downside (which I don't think is a real downside to the carpet) is that the black squares confuse my Roomba. When it comes to black squares, Roomba behaves as if it hits a wall/step. So it stinks a bit which makes it difficult for Roomba to start in that room because if it gets into an area where there are 3 black squares next to each other, Roomba gets so confused that it just stops. Overall, I really like this rug. .
