I live in Pennsylvania where spotted lanterns have reigned supreme. I bought this fly swatter because I outperformed my other fly swatter in killing those lantern flies. I have one on each door so I can take one with me when I go outside. One of the fly swatters has a small tear in the middle after about 2-3 weeks of abuse, but I can't be mad at that. I'm brutal with these fly swatters as I hit these bugs on all types of surfaces. My mission is to destroy every fly I see with the greatest prejudice. Fly swatters are highly flexible and very durable. If I break them all I will definitely come back to buy more. That's a great thing and they work great.
