Two main symptoms: (1) Video flickering/constant signal loss. (2) the sound quality is HORRIBLE. Extremely noticeable distortions occur when sound is transmitted through the device. The design of this device is very poor. You can feel the circuit board moving in the plastic case as you connect the cables. My device has two channels. Channel 1 keeps turning on and off so it can't be used. Sometimes it doesn't receive any signal at all. Channel 2 seems to work fine, but even the most subtle smack on the device or the cable connected to the device will result in a loss of signal and the screen will go black for a second.
