Being able to remotely control the solar controller seems like a good idea. The device was easy to install/connect to the solar controller. Installing the software on the phone was also easy. But the getting started guide doesn't say much about how to connect the software to the device. I had to find out by browsing the menu and trying different things. Every time you open the app on your phone, you need to add the device to the software, it needs to remember what you have! Once you connect to the controller, the software shows many items that don't match what you have. The battery voltage indicator is very unstable, it can change by several tenths of a volt without activity. The battery capacity indicator is completely useless, it can go from 70% to 100% in minutes with no load. The summary of the logged data contains some useful information, but again, so many items are displayed that are not available on the connected device. .I use it every day as it's easier than getting to a solar controller that doesn't sum the data. Maybe one day they will update the software to be more accurate and show only useful information and remember what devices you have connected.
