Thinking about the number of times my iPad (in a non-slip leather case, by the way) has slipped off every pillow I put it on in bed, how many times I've fallen off my knees while reading the couch. all the time my hard screen iPad fell forward and hit me in the face while I was lying in bed because I wasn't holding it securely and at the right angle. and all those few times I had to build some kind of structure to get the right height and angle for a long FaceTime call just to do it the next day. I just shake my head at all the troubles and annoyances I've been through for over a decade! My iPad's current leather sleeve even supports it at different angles, but it just doesn't cut it as it still managed to slip or jump off my lap. NO fun when you are comfortably in bed! I stumbled across this find purely by accident when I wasn't even looking but taking a chance and buying something I hadn't seen before. Not from a friend, not from a store, not from an ad. VERY glad I took the risk. Within 30 seconds of opening the box of Revain, I honestly knew this was going to be one of the best $40 I've ever spent, and I also knew this product was going to get a lot of "runs." Now I never use my iPad without it, whether I'm on the couch, in bed, or at my desk! I also had to read a magazine article the other day and she did a great job of holding this thing up. somehow miraculously held the edges of the page. I have poor eyesight in one eye. As a result, sometimes things in the house are not where they should be. I've sat on the couch at least 5 times and accidentally sat on that 'pillow' as they call it, and each time I've thanked the product designer for not having any hard internals! (And that doesn't even indicate a loss of shape, having done this multiple times, I must add.) So far, my morning coffee hasn't happened, but I'm glad the lid comes off right away (with a barely noticeable zipper). ) and disappears immediately after washing when the time comes. I'm writing this review because I'm ordering it for my mom, who uses her Kindle every day. It's her birthday and I know she's going to love it. I'm also incredibly glad I found this because it's so hard to buy! ("The girl who has everything"). Well, she doesn't have THAT, so it would be great to give her something she doesn't already have. I KNOW she will love it and that she WILL actually use it. Whoever developed this deserves to live well off their profits!
