This is a great gun for the money. I would not recommend this for a first airbrush. This is a great second weapon. You must be familiar with the airbrush and have a basic understanding of how it works to get the most out of the G22's potential. My first weapon is the Iwata Revolution. Unless you have another gun to compare to, you have no idea how well an airbrush should perform and the limitations of a high end airbrush (iwata) versus a budget one (Master Airbrush). G22 may not be as consistent as Iwata, but you can get close to it. The biggest plus of Master Airbrushes is the availability of spare parts and their cost. Iwata parts are expensive and hard to find in stock (always back order). So if I had to use a pistol regularly, I would go for the G22. Never worried about spare parts and never waited for them to arrive.
