Review on 🐦 Super Finch Volkman Avian Science 2 lb by Anthony Flores

I've been buying Kaytee's and other ubiquitous brands for my companion finches for years. I noticed that they mostly left niger seeds and lots of colored parts. Suddenly it occurred to me to look for something without so many niger seeds and after reading reviews about this mix I ordered it. Unbelievable! The way my kids (I have two) have immersed themselves in it (literally), you'd think they've never eaten before! Usually they just choose, seem picky, without any enthusiasm. I couldn't believe it - they chewed and slurped, licked their lips if they had any, spent a good 15 minutes on their little double trough nibbling around and then SITTING like nests, utterly content. I have never seen such behavior. I have the distinct impression that these seeds are softer, more pliable and not only tastier but also seem easier and more enjoyable to eat. My birds are not in a cage (that is, the doors remain open), they have plenty of entertainment options. and flight. I also provide them with oilseed salad and wheatgrass cultivation and refreshments. They land on my head or shoulder when excited, and they do when I'm carrying a bag (never before). So, to put it mildly, I'm glad I can make them feel even better by simply replacing the birdseed with a formula they so obviously LOVE. The only caveat is that I now feed them less per day and watch this closely because they soon get too fat to fly as fast as they gobble these seeds. Worth every penny, highly recommended!
