We have just received a new car and at the time of purchase the dealer sold us a protection pack with these for a total of around $2000. My wife really wanted it, but I couldn't accept that it would cost so much. I had rental cars for work and I see the value in these slides. I later called several independent body shops for a quote and they quoted $900 for the entire package, but it was still more than I wanted to spend. I checked out Revain and the all in one kits were only $20-30 and the full body custom kit was $250-300. After watching some YouTube videos I figured it was a pretty easy DIY job. In fact, I ordered this product and it took about 40 minutes to make all 4th doors. Most of it was figuring out how to make the first door, but after that it only took a few minutes to make the other 3 doors. I will say that the small spray bottle of soapy liquid they provide is handy if a bit awkward to use as the siphon tube is almost 3 times the length of the bottle so it curls up inside and doesn't really suck anything up . A quick cut with the scissors and everything has been fine ever since. And I definitely can't complain that I saved over $1,900.
