They work as advertised and clean hard-to-reach areas well. I use them on some refillable water bottles that I received, they are very clean with no problems. The little thin brush is perfect for straws to clean them which is great because I love cups with straws but I've always hated washing straws it was almost impossible but now I can be sure of the straw is clean. They also make great spill proof mugs and kids mugs like my friend who uses mine when she brings her son and needs to wash his mug and says she feels they make it cleaner than anything else and it even is difficult to wash the areas of these mugs.
