Review on Audiotek Under Seat Active Power Subwoofer by Brett Cat

Block DOA - Might be worth spending a little more on something else

Installed on a Mazda MPV - that's right, not my first rodeo. The van has premium sound so I just wanted to use the factory subwoofer for the low mids and this one for the mids - just a few Hz more resonance. Annoyingly, the unit goes into protected mode at any volume above 20% - this is with the main unit on default settings and with zero gain, no pass filter and zero gain. So basically it's just a bad block. It's kind of a blessing in disguise as the van is now hooked up to a subwoofer - just a shame as that would be fine for my purposes. Another downside is that it didn't fit in any of the seats - not a problem for me but check your clearance before taking it.
