Overall durable, lightweight and won't burn your neck
Sorry for the stupid Macgyver padding I added, I only have padded straps from my stroller and car seat belt. One is foam rubber and the other is faux sherpa with velcro so I didn't have to glue or sew. It's pricey, but honestly, the portability and ventilation make it worth it. I was cheap but I'm sure you can get creative with padding such as bike handlebar foam tape, baby corner guard tape, medical grade adhesive foam, cute little bunnies, etc.
