Sometimes I need to pull a Tipke brand aluminum cart behind my bike to buy groceries or garden supplies. I have a proper official Tipke hitch to mount the dolly to a bike seat post, but the Tipke adapter is only for a standard diameter seat post; It just doesn't fit the new large diameter seatposts that come with the Ford GoBike I'm renting. This handlebar mount adapter fits a larger seatpost and attaches very securely so I'm confident my cart will stay attached; The carriage hitch is then attached to the supplied rod. I have now tested it for 25 miles of food hauling and it works great. It's aluminum so won't rust and comes with an Allen key for tightening, loosening and adjusting the clamping mechanism.
