Of course it will be impractical. This is a piece of cardboard. But you're not looking for boogie virtual reality. You want to spend $10 or less for something that WORKS. Unfortunately this headset does not work. First, the image is incredibly blurry. Alignment when the lenses are so misaligned that you see duplicate objects and the image isn't quite right and takes you out of any immersive VR experience. It just doesn't give you a virtual reality experience. Second, there is no way to customize the settings and there is no QR barcode in Google Cardboard to load the correct settings. So you've basically got a cheap piece of cardboard that gives you a VR experience that makes you feel like you're squinting your eyes all the time, with no redeeming qualities like comfort or build quality to compensate. Don't waste your $8.99 on this.
